Bollywood actor Mohan Kapur recently made a tweet quashing the fake reports of his death. The Bodyguard actor released an official statement on his Twitter handle. He mentioned that he is safe and well. Mohan Kapur is known for his work in films and television. For about the three decades, the actor has managed to entertain fans with his acting skills. And, he will be marking his Hollywood debut soon, as well. Kapur is currently in the US, shooting for his upcoming Marvel series.

The Mission Mangal actor tweeted, “Hello Everybody, this is to put it out here that I am safe & well. The recent news of a persons passing, with whom I share my name, is really very sad. I pray for his family & loved ones to cope with this terrible loss as I also pray for his soul to rest in peace (sic).” Mohan Kapur released the statement and cleared the fake reports of his death. The actor said that the recent news of a person’s passing is “very sad” and offered his condolences to the bereaved family. Kapur mentioned he will pray for the person’s soul, to rest in peace.

For the unversed, on Friday, reports of Mohan Kapur’s demise had surfaced. Reportedly, Kapur had met with a fatal accident while rescuing a dog in Chandigarh. Due to some confusion because of the actor sharing his name with the deceased person, some publications reported Mohan Kapur’s death. Soon after the news made it to the headlines, tributes started pouring in for Mohan Kapur. Meanwhile, Kapur is shooting for his upcoming Marvel series titled Ms. Marvel.
