Mohinder Amarnath & Rameez Raja join Varun Dhawan & John Abraham in Dishoom
The yesteryear cricketers from India and Pakistan will be seen playing themselves
Nothing unites India and Pakistan more than cricket and movies. And this time, they’ve been clubbed for a single project. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala, known for roping in the most incredible talent for his movies, has managed to smuggle time with one of India’s finest cricket players, Mohinder Amarnath for his upcoming venture, Dishoom starring Varun Dhawan and John Abraham.
The cricketer, playing himself in the film, shot this afternoon at DY Patil Stadium amidst tight security. Now, it is to be seen whether he keeps the signature red handkerchief in his pocket in the film too.
Saquib Saleem also joined the shoot today. He plays a cricketer in the film that loosely revolves around match fixing. The involvement of cricketers doesn’t end here. During the Abu Dhabi schedule of the film, Pakistani cricketer-turned commentator Rameez Raja joined the cast and crew to face the camera for a couple of scenes.
