Mouni Roy Gets ‘The Best Birthday Surprise’, A Puppy, From Rumoured Boyfriend Suraj Nambiar Amid Wedding Reports
Mouni Roy gets Lhasa Apso puppy as a birthday gift from rumoured boyfriend Suraj Nambiar. Or so suggests their Instagram posts.
Actress Mouni Roy has been grabbing headlines owing to her marriage reports with rumoured boyfriend, Dubai-based businessman Suraj Nambiar. An India Today report stated that the rumoured couple is set to get married in January next year in an intimate wedding. However, another report claimed that the rumour of Mouni getting married to Suraj in January 2022 is false. But the wedding is definitely on the cards and whenever it happens, Mouni would be the first person to announce it. Amidst these wedding reports, Mouni seems to have got the best birthday surprise from Suraj.
Suraj Nambiar, on Thursday, shared a photo of Lhasa Apso puppy in a basket with Mouni's name on it on Instagram story. And on Friday, the actress shared a couple of her photos where she is seen cuddling and playing with the little puppy. Alongside it, Mouni wrote, My baby boy Theo.. the best surprise amongst soooo many…So so happy!!!!!” along with heart emoticons.
Going by their posts, it looks like Suraj Nambiar has gifted this Lhasa Apso puppy to his rumoured lady love Mouni, who celebrated her birthday on September 28 in Goa with her close pals.
Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar first sparked off their dating rumours in 2019 when Mouni's friend Roopali Kadyan (wife of Contiloe Films' Abhimanyu Singh) shared a picture of them holidaying together, but later deleted it. Although the actress has been tight-lipped about her relationship, their frequent outings often spark off dating rumours.

Mumbai Mirror then had quoted her saying, “People who matter know I'm single and it's not about the shortage of time because you can compartmentalise your life. But I need to meet the right person, I can't just pick someone and start dating. At the moment I'm grateful for this window (movies) that has opened in my life. I don't think I should throw it away by not giving my 100 per cent to it.”
