After wrapping up Badhaai Do, Bhumi Pednekar is all set to star opposite Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani in Mr Lele. According to a report, the actress has joined the cast of the film.
Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar is one of the most popular actresses in the Hindi film industry. She has proved her versatility as an actress by taking up challenging and interesting roles. The actress was recently in the news after she made an announcement related to her upcoming comedy Badhaai Ho. On Saturday, the actress confirmed wrapping up the shooting schedule of the comedy film that also stars Rajkummar Rao. Now, as per a report, Bhumi Pednekar is all set to star alongside Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani in the comic thrilled titled Mr Lele.
According to a report in Pinkvilla.com, a source revealed that Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani will feature in the comic thriller. "It's an exciting project bringing three young talents of Bollywood together. Bhumi has loved the way her character is written and hence, got back to the film yet again. Vicky too is looking forward to slip into the comic space with the film. It's one of a kind comic thrillers, and the team is all excited to start shooting very soon," the source revealed. Furthermore, talking about the characters, the source said, "Vicky's character has the Maharashtrian shades to it and whereas the details of Bhumi and Kiara's track has been kept under wraps."
Earlier, in an interview with Filmfare, Bhumi opened up about working with Rajkummar and said, "Raj has been a revelation for me. I thought he would be someone who's very serious and a bit of an introvert, but he's not like that - at least not in this film." She further added that he is a blast to work with and even called him a fantastic actor.
On the work front, Bhumi Pednekar has films Badhaai Ho, Mr Lele and a few others in the pipeline, for now. The actress last featured in the film Durgamati: The Myth.
