Mumbai woke up today to incessant rains that have now led to water logging in many areas and has brought the city to a standstill. Due to flooding in many areas, schools have been declared to remain shut today. With almost 24 hours of continuous rains, there’s a lot of chaos in the city and has caused a hindrance for people. Some modes of transportation have been severely affected and there is a prediction of extremely heavy downpour for the next few days. The Twitterati are now tweeting about it and so are some Bollywood celebs. Read on to find out what they have to say!

Bollywood celebs such as Esha Gupta, Deepika Padukone, Ali Fazal, Tisca Chopra, Baba Sehgal  took to social media to share about the current situation of the city. While some are complaining about it,some are all praises for the authorities for having handled Ganpati Visarjan so well despite the rains, while a few have hilarious take on the pouring rains. Esha Gupta tweeted, “Thank you @MumbaiPolice, rains festival cars people of road, your work doesn’t stop. Thank you for your service.” Another tweet of hers read, “Stay safe everyone in this #MumbaiRains.. humble request to please help in providing shelter to any or all street animals you can, thank you.” Baba Sehgal posted a hilarious tweet that read, “Father is Pop, Phasal is Crop, Uppar is Top, Mumbai mein baarish ho rahi hai Non Stop.” Check out other tweets:
