Navtej Hundal Death: Uri Actor Mohit Raina Expresses Grief
On Monday, actor Navtej Hundal who was last seen in Uri: The Surgical Strike breathed his last. Now, his fellow co-star from the film, Mohit Raina has expressed his heartfelt condolences on his untimely demise
In a sad state of events, actor Navtej Hundal who was last seen in the film, Uri: The Surgical Strike passed away on Monday (April 8). The Cine and TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA), shared the news of his demise on their official Twitter handle by writing, “CINTAA expresses its deepest condolence on the demise of Shri Navtej Hundal. May his soul rest in peace. The cremation is at Oshiwara Crematorium, Relief Rd, Prakash Nagar, Dnyaneshwar Nagar, Jogeshwari (W) at 11:00 am”.
Now, his fellow co-star from the film Mohit Raina who is busy shooting for his upcoming web series Kaafir in Himachal Pradesh with Dia Mirza, responded to us. The actor expressing sadness replied, “That’s really sad news. I never got a chance to interact much. But this loss to his family is irreplaceable. I hope they find strength and courage to deal with it.”
Also, a source close to the family on the condition of anonymity revealed a few details to SpotboyE.com, “Navtej was hospitalised past one week as he was getting treated for Hepatitis B. He was recovering well and was supposed to be discharged yesterday. The news has left the family shocked.”
Navtej was seen in movies like Khalnayak (1993), Tere Mere Sapne (1996), The Whispers (2009) and his last screen outing was Uri: The Surgical Strike. The late actor is father of TV actress Avantika Hundal who is currently seen on Divyanka Tripathi’s popular show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. She plays the character of Mishika.
