Bollywood actor Navtej Hundal, who was last seen in Uri: The Surgical Strike, breathed his last on Monday (April 8). The news of his demise was shared by CINTAA on their official Twitter handle. There was no other information about the reason for his death. Navtej Hundal is survived by his wife and two daughters- one of which is TV actress, Avantika Hundal (plays Mishika's role in Yeh Hain Mohabbatein)
SpotboyE.com tried to get in touch with a few members of the fraternity to know more about actor’s untimely demise. While many were not reachable, we spoke to a source close to the family, who on the condition of anonymity, revealed a few details to us.
“Navtej was hospitalised past one week as he was getting treated for Hepatitis B. He was recovering well and was supposed to be discharged yesterday. The news has left the family shocked.”
Besides Uri: The Surgical Strike, Navtej has worked in movies like Khalnayak (1993), Tere Mere Sapne (1996), The Whispers (2009) and his last stint on big screen was Uri: The Surgical Strike. The late actor was also an acting coach.
