Nawazuddin Siddiqui Reacts As Wife Aaliya Withdraws Divorce Notice Against Him; Says ‘She’s The Mother Of My Kids; I’ll Always Support Her’

Last year, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya hit the headlines when reports of her seeking divorce from The Sacred Games actor had surfaced on the Internet. She had revealed sending a legal notice to Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and she had decided to end their marriage of 10 years. However, yesterday, Times Of India reported that Aaliya has decided to withdraw her legal notice for divorce. She said that their children Shora and Yaani need them, and that they can keep their disagreements aside for their kids. Now, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has reacted to this, and said that their children shouldn’t suffer.
According to a report in Bombay Times, Nawazuddin hasn’t really thought about a possible reconciliation, however, he did say that Aaliya is the mother of their children, and that he would support her no matter what. “Mera farz banta hai ke main unka khayal rakhu. Aaliya and I are not on the same page, we may not agree with each other, but our children have always been my priority. They should not suffer because of us. Rishtey bante bighadte rehte hai, unka asar bacchon pe nahi hona chahiye. I want to be a good father,” said Nawazuddin.
He further said that humanity is everything, and that we have seen so much suffering amid the pandemic, that if it can’t change you, then nothing will. “I’ll always be there for them. And each one of us needs to introspect,” he said.
Meanwhile, while speaking to Bombay Times, Aaliya said that she was down with COVID-19 and it was Nawazuddin Siddiqui who took care of their children, and her, in spite of what she said about him. She revealed that the pandemic has been an eye-opener, and that she doesn’t want a divorce anymore.
