Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Brother Minazuddin Applies For Anticipatory Bail In 8-Year-Old Case Of Alleged Molestation Of A Minor Girl - Report
Reportedly, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's younger brother Minazuddin has sought anticipatory bail in case of alleged molestation of a minor girl in his family.
It was in the month of July this year that Kick actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's estranged wife Aaliya Siddiqui had filed a case against his family members. In her report, Aaliya had accused Minazuddin, along with other family members, of allegedly molesting a minor child from their family in 2012. In October, yet another case was filed by Aaliya against the actor's family. During that time, the Allahabad High Court stayed the arrest of Nawaz, his two brothers Fayazuddin and Ayazuddin and mother Mehrunissa.
The HC, however, did not grant relief to Minazuddin. Now, as per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Minazuddin's lawyer Nadeem Zafer Zaidi told a news agency that he has sought anticipatory bail from the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) court on the ground that the arrest of other co-accused in the case has already been stayed by the high court. Reportedly, Minazuddin's plea was admitted by the court and the matter is expected to be heard by the Special Judge Sanjive Kumar Tiwari on December 16.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Anjali tied the knot in 2009, the latter then changed her name to Aaliya. The couple, however, separated this year after Aaliya accused Nawaz of cheating and his family of physical violence. Nawaz, on the other hand, hasn't commented on it. The former couple has two children, daughter Shora and son Yani.
