Neena Gupta Is Looking For Her Trikal Co-Star, Fans Remind Her He Appeared In Tamasha With Deepika Padukone
Neena Gupta, who is quite active on social media, recently put up a throwback post. She put up a picture that had her with Nikhil Bhagat from the sets of her film Trikal. She asked 'where are you Nikhil', and got interesting reactions from fans.
Neena Gupta who has made a comeback to films and is killing it with her awesome performances in films like Badhaai Ho and others; drove down the memory lane and went back to the sets of her film Trikal. She shared a post that has her posing with Nikhil Bhagat who played the younger version of character Milagrenia. It was then taken over by Naseeruddin Shah. She questioned about Nikhil's whereabouts and got interesting reactions. One of her fans gave an accurate answer and revealed that Nikhil Bhagat has made a comeback to films and that he was in Tamasha.
Nikhil essayed the role of Deepika Padukone's father in Tamasha that also starred Ranbir Kapoor. He disappeared from films for a while and then got back to it in 2015 with Tamasha. Neena Gupta, on her Instagram, wrote, "#Throwback Me and Nikhil in #Trikal Where are you Nikhil, what do you look like now?", along with black and white pictures of herself and Nikhil. Trikal released in 1985 and the story revolves around the Souza Soares family. It is about spirits and ghosts that come haunting the family.
Talking about Neena Gupta, she was recently in the news for her comment on the trailer of Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar's Sandh Ki Aankh. Neena Gupta was of an opinion that the role of dadis should be given to older actresses rather than roping in young actresses and getting them prosthetics done. It had led to a huge furor over social media with netizens criticising the makers of Sandh Ki Aankh. Neena though later put out a tweet supporting Taapsee and Bhumi.
