Neerja director Ram Madhvani has announced his next venture. The filmmaker has collaborated with Sony Pictures Films India to co-produce a first-of-its-kind underwater thriller titled ‘Dive’. He took to his Twitter to make an official announcement about his next venture. As per the press release shared by the filmmaker, the film will be directed by a debutant, Nitin Parmar, a well-known ad filmmaker. Dive will be written by Renuka Kunzru. The film is produced under the banner of Sony Pictures Films India and Ram Madhvani Films.
Taking to Twitter, Ram Madhvani shared the press note and tweeted, “Time to hold your breath! We're DIVE-ing deep for our next adventure! Presenting ‘DIVE’, an underwater survival drama, helmed by Nitin Parmar, written by Renuka Kunzru and jointly produced by Sony Pictures Films India & Ram Madhvani Films. Stay tuned for more! #DiveTheFilm” Reacting to the filmmaker’s post on Instagram, actor Kartik Aaryan said, “Congratulations.” Actor Vivian Bhatena expressed his views and commented, “It’s the hardest task to shoot underwater. Please have your actors train sir. Suggest watching making of Jaws. Best of luck. Sounds great.”

According to the press note, Neerja Narayanan will be the executive producer of the film. The announcement mentioned that the film Dive is currently in the development stage. Meanwhile, on the work front, Ram Madhvani has Dhamaka with Kartik Aaryan in the lead and season two of the Sushmita Sen-led web series Aarya. It was only recently reported that Madhavni is set to produce a web series on the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
