Some time back, Neetu Kapoor along with Varun Dhawan and Maniesh Paul tested positive for COVID. The trio contracted the virus while shooting for Jug Jugg Jeeyo, helmed by Good Newwz director Raj Mehta, in Chandigarh. Soon after learning about them contracting the virus, the trio isolated themselves and Ranbir Kapoor arranged an air ambulance for his mother. Neetu Kapoor, who was air dashed from Chandigarh to Mumbai and continues to stay in self-isolation. It was just this afternoon, the veteran actress released a statement where she confirmed the same. In her released statement, Neetu Kapoor assured her fans that she’s feeling better now.

Late Rishi Kapoor’s brother Randhir Kapoor recently spoke to a digital portal and gave us an update on Neetu Kapoor’s health. The legendary actor revealed in his latest interview that Neetu is asymptomatic. Speaking to ETimes, Neetu Kapoor’s brother-in-law Randhir Kapoor said, “Neetu has quarantined herself at home. Having said that, she is asymptomatic and recovering well.” Her recently released statement read, “Earlier this week I tested positive for Covid-19. All safety measures are being followed and I am thankful to the authorities for all their help and quick response. I am in self-quarantine, taking medication on my doctor''s advice and feeling better.”

Earlier, Varun Dhawan had shared a selfie and wrote, “So as I returned to work in the pandemic era I have contracted #covid_19 All precautions were taken by the production but still nothing is certain in life especially not covid-19. So please be extra careful I believe I could have been more careful. I see the get well soon messages and my spirits are high taking each day at a time thank u.”
