Neetu Kapoor along with Varun Dhawan and Maniesh Paul had tested positive for COVID-19. The trio had contracted virus while shooting in Chandigarh for Good Newwz director Raj Mehta’s upcoming directorial Jug Jugg Jeeyo. The film also stars Anil Kapoor in the leading role. Almost a week back, the trio had tested positive and Ranbir Kapoor had arrange air travel for mother Neetu Kapoor to Mumbai. It was just yesterday, Neetu Kapoor announced on social media and said that she self-isolated herself at home and is doing better now.

Now in the latest update, Neetu Kapoor beats COVID-19. A while back, Happy daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni took to social media and announced the good news. Sharing a picture with mommy dearest Riddhima thanked everyone for their wishes and prayers. She captioned the picture, “Thank you for all your good wishes & prayers - My mother has tested Covid negative today  @neetu54.” Earlier, confirming her testing positive for COVID-19, Neetu had released a statement that read, “Earlier this week I tested positive for Covid-19. All safety measures are being followed and I am thankful to the authorities for all their help and quick response. I am in self-quarantine, taking medication on my doctor''s advice and feeling better.”

Before Neetu, Varun Dhawan and confirmed that he too has tested positive for COVID. He had shared a selfie and wrote, “So as I returned to work in the pandemic era I have contracted #covid_19 All precautions were taken by the production but still nothing is certain in life especially not covid-19. So please be extra careful I believe I could have been more careful. I see the get well soon messages and my spirits are high taking each day at a time thank u.”
