Coronavirus cases are increasing day by day. Over the past few weeks, many celebrities from TV and Bollywood industry tested positive for the novel virus. And now, Neil Nitin Mukesh took to his Twitter handle and informed his fans and followers that he and his family members have tested positive for the virus. The actor urged everyone to not take the situation lightly and stay safe.

The actor shared, "Inspite of all necessary precautions, including staying home, unfortunately, members of my family and I have tested positive for COVID-19. We are all home quarantined, following the essential protocols and taking medication as prescribed by our doctors. We thank all of you for your love and good wishes! Take care and stay safe. " He further added, 'Need all your love and blessings. Please do not take the situation out there lightly."

On the work front, Neil was last seen in Bypass Road, which also starred Adah Sharma. The actor keeps updating fans about his upcoming projects on social media.

The situation is getting worse day by day. Recently, Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, and Vicky Kaushal informed their fans and followers that they tested negative for the virus. Bhumi Pednekar also took to her Instagram page and informed her fans that she has recovered and tested negative for the virus. Given the increase in cases, the Maharashtra government recently announced a curfew in the state and shooting of TV shows, films and ads came to a halt.
