Actress Athiya Shetty recently got married to cricketer KL Rahul at Suniel Shetty's farmhouse in Khandala. Their wedding was an extremely close affair with just family members and a few close friends in attendance. On Saturday, Athiya made her first public appearance as she was spotted outside a salon in Mumbai. The actress did not stop to pose for the paparazzi and was seen rushing to her car. Athiya, however, got trolled with netizens calling her out for her rude behaviour.
In a video shared on a paparazzo’s Instagram handle, the newly-married actress was seen exiting the saloon when a paparazzo asked her to wait. The shutterbugs also congratulated the actress and she greeted them by saying, “thank you.” Athiya also said bye to them before sitting inside her swanky car. For the outing, the Mubarakan actress looked uber cool in striped brown and cream shirt and white striped pants and heels. Soon after this video surfaced online, netizens started trolling Athiya. Meanwhile, both Athiya and KL Rahul shared their stunning photos from the wedding on social media alongside a joint statement. Their note read, “In your light, I learn how to love... Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that's given us immense joy and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness.”
The couple is likely to host a wedding reception after the IPL season.
