Nick Jonas On Welcoming Daughter Malti With Priyanka Chopra; ‘It’s Been A Magical Season In Our Life, It’s A Blessing To Have Her Home’

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their first child, baby girl Malti Marie Chopra Jonas earlier this year via surrogate. The couple shared the happy news with the world on social media. The couple brought their newborn baby girl home 100 days after she was kept in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) for observation. Now, in a recent interview, Nick has opened up about embracing fatherhood and called it a ‘magical season’ in their life.
During his appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the American Singer branded his little girl as a “blessing” in his life. Nick said, “She’s the best. It’s just been a magical season in our life. Also pretty wild, but it’s a blessing to have her home. It’s been wonderful.” Notably, reacting to the photo Clarkson showed him, Nick replied, "There she is. She’s got a little heart face.” The picture showed Nick and Priyanka with their daughter Malti. On the occasion of Mother Day this year, PeeCee had shared the first glimpse of her baby girl alongside a heartfelt note where she revealed that daughter Malti was born prematurely, and thus, the baby was kept in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) for 100 days under observation. In the first candid photo, Priyanka was seen holding her baby girl in her arms close to her heart, while Nick Jonas adorably looked at his little one. An excerpt from her post read, "After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is."
Priyanka and Nick, who tied the knot in two ceremonies in 2018, were blessed with their first child, daughter Malti in January.
