Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas Share FIRST PHOTO Of Their Newborn Daughter; Couple Says ‘After 100 Days In NICU, Our Little Girl Is Finally Home’
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have shared the first photo of their little girl Malti, who comes home after being kept under observation for 100 days
This year’s Mother’s Day was indeed very special for global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas as it was her first mother’s day post welcoming her daughter. And, to mark it, the actress and her husband Nick Jonas shared the first photo of their newborn baby girl Malti Marie Chopra Jonas on Instagram. In the picture, while Priyanka is seen holding her baby girl in her arms close to her heart, Nick Jonas adorably looks at his little one. This candid shot of PeeCee’s little daughter is breaking the internet for all the right reasons.
The Baywatch actress did not reveal the face of her little munchkin to the world as she added a heart emoji on the baby's face. Priyanka-Nick’s little princess looks super cute resting in her mom’s arms. Alongside the photo, the desi girl penned a heartfelt note and revealed that her daughter was born prematurely, and thus, the baby was kept in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) for 100 days under observation.
Priyanka wrote, “On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is. We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every Doctor, nurse and specialist at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let’s get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you.Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and caretakers in my life and out there. You make it look so easy. Thank you.”
She concluded her note by thanking hubby Nick Jonas for making her ‘mama’. Nick too posted the same picture with the identical caption on his Instagram handle. In January, Priyanka and Nick had welcomed their first child, a baby girl through surrogacy.
