B-Town stars making an appearance at weddings is a common phenomena. Basking in the glory of Padmaavat, Ranveer Singh was made a tempting offer recently. According to a report in a daily newspaper, the actor was offered a whopping booty of Rs 2 crore for 30 minutes for a wedding, but Ranveer turned down the same. Reason? It would distract him from his ongoing project, Gully Boy.
A source close to Ranveer told the newspaper, “Ranveer is a perfectionist when he is shooting and concentrates on the minutest details as part of his prep for the character he plays. For him to pull off this appearance would mean him wrapping up the shoot (he is shooting from 6am to 6pm every day for Zoya's film), flying to a different city and returning the same night to report to the set at the crack of dawn the following day."
"So, he told his team that he would like to concentrate on performing his role better than focus on the money offered and asked them to decline it," said the source.

Talking about Gully Boy, the film also stars Alia Bhatt
and is based on the lives of street rappers as Divine and Naezy known for their
song Mere Gully Mein in Mumbai. A few days ago, Ranveer and Alia were spotted on-the-sets
of the film in Mumbai. Alia was seen wearing a burkha and Ranveer spotted in a
casual avatar.
