Not Disha Patani, Shraddha Kapoor Will Reunite With Tiger Shroff In Baaghi 3
Leaving Disha Patani behind, Shraddha Kapoor has bagged the 3rd instalment of Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi 3, to be helmed by Ahmed Khan
Neither Disha Patani nor Sara Ali Khan, it’s Shraddha Kapoor opposite Tiger Shroff in Baaghi 3. The makers of the successful franchise have zeroed down on Shraddha Kapoor, once again, to play the leading lady of Tiger Shroff starrer.
Earlier, reports were doing the rounds that makers have approached Sara Ali Khan for the role, however, a few days back, director of the film, Ahmed Khan quashed reports of Kedarnath star turning down the offer because she felt that the role wasn’t meaty enough and said Sara was never in contention. The makers have always been keen on Disha or Shraddha. And now, they have locked Shraddha for the third installment.
While Shraddha Kapoor was seen playing the leading actress in first Baaghi, Disha Patani starred with beau in Baaghi 2.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film will be directed by Ahmed Khan. A source close to the makers told leading tabloid, Mumbai Mirror, “Just like the first film, the third part will see Shraddha in a fierce avatar with at least one action sequence centered around her character. She signed on the dotted line recently and is all charged up about the project”
Shraddha Kapoor’s kitty is full of different projects. While the actress is currently shooting for Saaho co-starring Prabhas, she will also be seen in Remo D’Souza’s Street Dancer 3 opposite Varun Dhawan and Nora Fatehi. Also in pipeline is Chhichhore with Sushant Singh Rajput and Varun Sharma. Not just that, the actress is also working in the Saina Nehwal biopic. Looks like it's party time for Shraddha.
