Adah Sharma has shared shocking photos of her, revealing she did not drink water for 40 hours while shooting for ‘The Kerala Story’ under extreme weather conditions!

Adah Sharma has proved her mettle as a talented actor in the industry with her power-packed performance in ‘The Kerala Story.’ The actress has truly left no stone unturned to get into the skin of her character and she did complete justice to her role. In her recent social media post, Adah has revealed that in order to look convincing as Shalini she did not drink water for 40 long hours and that she shot in -16 degrees under extreme weather conditions.

On Thursday, Sharma posted a couple photos of from the shooting where her lips were seen chapped with wound marks on her face. In an interview, Adah mentioned that it gives her pleasure to do stuff that pushes her mentally and physically as an actor. “I wanted to look as convincing as I could. I'm a big foodie and I usually drink five litres of water a day so it was difficult. But if you put your mind to it anything is possible,” the actress said while talking about her role.

Meanwhile, ‘The Kerala Story’ was directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. It starred Adah Sharma in the lead role, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani. The movie narrated the story of a group of women from Kerala who are coerced into converting to Islam and joining the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). It was released on 5 May 2023 and collected more than Rs 200 cores at the box office despite controversies.
