Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli are one of the most sought-after celebrity couples. The couple has been over the moon as they welcomed their son Akaay, earlier in February. Fans too have been ecstatic about the news. While Virat has returned to India for the preparation of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Anushka is still in London with their kids, daughter Vamika and son Akaay. In the past few weeks, it has been widely reported that the couple plans on permanently moving to the UK so that they can provide their children with a normal childhood, away from the media glare.
Now, a recent report by Bollywood Life stated that Anushka might return to India along with her kids soon. The report states that there is a possibility that she might make her first public appearance after the birth of her son during Virat’s team Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) match in IPL 2024. According to the source of the entertainment portal, since Akaay is more than a month old, the airline should allow the actress to travel with her kids. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, the source added, “Anushka who has been the strongest supporter of Virat may appear in one of the IPL matches to cheer him, as till date it has never happened in the history that Anushka hasn’t attended any matches of hubby Virat. For the unversed, having tied the knot in 2017 in a beautiful intimate wedding ceremony in Tuscany, Kohli and Sharma welcomed their first child, a daughter Vamika in January 2021. It is to be noted that ever since they welcomed their daughter, she had been kept away from the limelight. The celebrity couple even released a statement requesting the paparazzi to not click her photos. They will certainly be maintaining the same protocol for their newborn son.
On the work front, last seen in Zero, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma has Chakda Xpress in her pipeline. She will be seen essaying the role of Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami in the upcoming sports film. Set to stream on Netflix, the movie is directed by Prosit Roy.
