Kangana Ranaut has come out in support of Priyanka Chopra after she revealed she was cornered in Bollywood and was tired of politics in the industry. During her appearance on the podcast Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, PeeCee stated she was being pushed into a corner in the industry where people were not casting her. After this explosive revelation, Ranaut has accused filmmaker Karan Johar of banning Priyanka from Hindi cinema. Not just that she even alleged he harassed her to the point she left the industry.

Taking to her Twitter handle, the Queen actress on Tuesday shared a news article that read Priyanka Chopra says she moved to the US because had ‘beef’ with people in Bollywood: ‘Was being pushed into a corner, was tired of the politics.” Sharing this, Kangana wrote, “This is what @priyankachopra has to say about bollywood, people ganged up on her, bullied her and chased her out of film industry” a self made woman was made to leave India. Everyone knows Karan Johar had banned her.” In another tweet, she said, “Media wrote extensively about her fall out with Karan Johar because of her friendship with SRK and movie mafia Cruella who is always looking for vulnerable outsiders saw a perfect punching bag in PC and went all out in harassing her to a point where she had to leave India.” ALSO READ: SHOCKING! She added, “This obnoxious, jealous, mean and toxic person should be held accountable for ruining the culture and environment of film industry which was never hostile to outsiders in the days of AB or SRK.His gang and mafia PR should be raided and held accountable for harassing outsiders.”

On Dax Shepherd’s podcast, when the interviewer asked Priyanka what made her seek work in the US. The desi girl said, “I was being pushed into a corner in the industry (Bollywood). I had people not casting me, I had beef with people, I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break.”

Interestingly, Kangana and Priyanka had worked together in films like Fashion and Krrish 3. Over the years their relationship soured after Kangana publicly attacked Priyanka over her political views during the 2020 farmers' protest. The Tanu Weds Manu actress called Chopra a 'secular puppy' after she extended support to the protesting farmers.
