Shahid Kapoor has rented his Juhu apartment to Kartik Aaryan for Rs 7.5 lakhs per month
Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput Kapoor have been making the headlines for their new apartment for quite some time now. From Instagram images to reels, the couple has been sharing glimpses of their new home, leaving fans in awe. Before buying their swanky new duplex in Worli, the actor bought an amazing sea-facing apartment in Juhu in 2014, before getting married to his wife. If reports are to be believed, they have rented their old apartment to Kartik Aaryan.
Yes, you read that right! The actor who is running high on the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Freddy, has now leased Shahid’s apartment in the Praneta building on Juhu Tara Road. The main attraction of the building is its proximity to Juhu Beach. According to the Hindustan Times, the building is spread over 3,681 sq ft and comes with two parking spaces in the compound. As reported by the media publication, Kartik will be paying Shahid a monthly rent of ₹7.5 lakh in the first 12 months. Their lease terms indicate a 7% escalation in rent every year, which means the Pyaar Ka Punchnama star will have to pay ₹8.02 lakh per month next year and ₹8.58 lakh per month, the year after that. Not only has he paid ₹45 lakh as security deposit, the stamp duty and registration for the 36 month lease’s transaction was done last week, on January 12th. According to the documents accessed by HT, the deal was between Mira and Kartik’s mother Mala Tiwari, on behalf of the actors.
Talking about Shahid and Mira’s new apartment, they had purchased a 8,625 sq ft duplex in the south wing of Three Sixty West in Prabhadevi for Rs. 58 crores. The couple through their social media handles.
On the work front, while Shahid Kapoor is all set to make his digital debut with Farzi alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Kartik Aaryan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Shehzada.
