R Madhavan, in a recent interview, showers heaps of praise on Hrithik Roshan
'Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein’s Maddy AKA R Madhavan is all praise for actor Hrithik Roshan. In a recent interview, Madhavan expressed his admiration for the Greek God and said he wants to do all kinds of films that the War actor does. In fact, Madhavan is also inspired by Hrithik’s age-defying looks and by his fitness regime. The ‘3 Idiots’ actor stated that he wants to be ‘fit like Hrithik in order to star opposite Katrina Kaif.
While speaking to Hindustan Times, Madhavan said, “I have huge admiration for him. We both started off at the same time. He looks like a Greek god even now and does phenomenal action. But merely desiring it won’t help me. I need to be fit like him, to be able to star opposite Katrina Kaif.” Interestingly, Hrithik Roshan recently unveiled his first look from his upcoming movie ‘Vikram Vedha’, which is a Hindi remake of Madhvan's superhit South film. Reacting to his first look, the Tanu Weds Manu actor said, “Now that’s a Vedha I do want to see. Wow bro, this is epic. Damn.”
On the occasion of his 48th birthday earlier this year, Roshan had treated fans to his first look from Vikram Vedha, which will see him playing Vedha, portrayed by superstar Vijay Sethupathi. Saif Ali Khan will step into Madhvan's shoes for playing Vikram in the Hindi remake.
Meanwhile, R Madhavan was recently seen in the Netflix show ‘Decoupled’ opposite Surveen Chawla. The web series narrated a story of a misanthropic writer and his startup-founder wife juggling their divorce with the absurdities and annoyances of life in their affluent world.
