One of India’s most influential families, the Ambanis are currently over the moon as their son Anant Ambani is all set to tie the knot with his childhood sweetheart Radhika Merchant. Ever since the couple’s pre-wedding invites surfaced online, netizens have been excited to see the celebrations taking place. The pre-wedding festivities of Anant and Randhika’s wedding will be happening in Jamnagar, Gujarat from March 1-3. Amid this, even the Bollywood celebrities are gearing up to attend the festivities.
On Saturday, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were spotted along with their daughter Raha Kapoor at the Mumbai airport. They have flown to Gujarat for Anant and Radhika’s wedding. According to a new report by Pinkvilla, the Brahmastra couple are all set to perform during the pre-wedding festivities. As per a video by RK Jr’s fan club, they were spotted with Akash Ambani at the Ambani residence in Jamnagar. Apparently, they have reached the venue to rehearse for the event. Talking about the invite that had gone viral, it read, “Over the past 25 years, we have built our fondest memories in Jamnagar, and it is the place closest to our heart. Ranbir and Alia tied the knot after dating for a couple of years in April 2022 in an intimate ceremony in the presence of their close friends and family. They announced their pregnancy in June 2022 and welcomed their baby daughter Raha in November 2022. The little munchkin took over the internet when her parents decided to reveal her face during Christmas celebrations in 2023.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will next collaborate on Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Love & War. Set to release in Christmas 2025, the movie also stars Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. They also have Ayan Mukeji’s Brahmastra franchise in their pipeline. On the other hand, the actress will also be seen in Jigra and Farhan Akhtar’s directorial Jee Le Zara alongside Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in her pipeline. If reports are to be believed, she will set foot in YRF's spy universe as the leading lady. Ranbir will also be reportedly starring in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan.
