Ranbir Kapoor is good at playing the emotional hero on the silver screen but who knew that the actor can be equally sentimental in real life.
Guests at yesterday's house party saw that side of Ranbir as he gathered close friends and family for a intimate celebration at his Chembur residence.
Maybe it was the realization that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has finally ended his bad run at the box-office, maybe it was the presence of Imran Khan, an old friend that he met after a long time. But Ranbir Kapoor ended up getting a little misty-eyed after a few drinks at the party.
Plus there was the presence of Sonam Kapoor. The two had been linked romantically while they shot for their Bollywood debut Saawariya and will reunite onscreen in Rajkumar Hirani's Sanjay Dutt biopic.
Sonam who plays Tina Munim in the film did not spend too much time at the party though and left after what seemed like a courtesy call.
Then there were lovebirds Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra who made an appearance. Alia is Ranbir's co-star from his next with Ayan Mukerji, Dragon. Ayan, a close friend of Ranbir’s, was the life of the party as usual.
The party which started around 10 in the night, continued on till
in the morning. Imran Khan and wife Avantika, Kiran Rao, Ayan Mukerjee, Zoya Akhtar were among the last ones to leave.
