The actor had made the headlines in 2021, when he had announced his engagement with fashion designer Nandita Mahtani.
Well, more than a year later, it is now being reported that the couple has called off their relationship but have still maintained a good friendship. According to IANS, the estranged couple had attended Deanne Pandey's daughter’s haldi ceremony on Wednesday, however they were seen maintaining a distance from each other. As per the source mentioned by the news agency, it was the actor’s reclusiveness in their social circuit that led to the distance between them. However, they have not let the break-up affect their friendship. They are respectful towards each other and are constantly there for the other. The couple is yet to officially address the ongoing reports about their broken engagement. On the work front, Vidyut will be next seen in the extreme sports movie Crakk, which also stars Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez. The Aditya Datt directorial will be released on the big screens in 2023. He also has a biopic titled Sher Singh Raana in his pipeline.
