Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma are currently shooting for Sui Dhaaga in Madhya Pradesh. The team is leaving no stone unturned to give a realistic look to the film and thus they decided to opt for a bicycle which is a common mode of transport in the interiors of the country.
The picture from the sets of the film has surfaced online, where we can see Varun & Anushka on a bicycle.
Looks like Varun is giving it all even after an injury. Just yesterday, it was reported that he suffered a gash on forehead while performing a stunt without a body double on-the-sets of Sui Dhaaga. A unit hand told mid-day that the scene in question sees Varun’s character Mauji engage in a street brawl and subsequently roll down a flight of stairs. While director Sharat Katariya wanted a body double to perform the stunt, the actor insisted on doing the sequence himself.
Talking about the incident a source informed the leading daily, "The director clearly told Varun of the risk involved in the scene and tried to dissuade him from attempting the stunt. But Varun was adamant. Unfortunately, while filming, one of the steps in the staircase gave way and in the process, he sustained injuries on his head, including a gash on the forehead."
Coming back to these latest pictures, this must have been a mammoth task, we’re sure!
