Poonam Pandey’s Husband Sam Bombay ARRESTED After The Actress Accuses Him Of Assault; She Is Admitted To Hospital For Sustaining Injuries- Report
Poonam Pandey has filed a complaint against her husband Sam Bombay for assaulting her. Sam Bombay, on Sunday, was reportedly arrested by the Mumbai Police. According to a report in ANI, Sam got arrested after Poonam lodged a complaint against him.  The actress was reportedly hospitalised after filing the complaint. Poonam has suffered injuries on her head, eyes, and face.

The official Twitter handle of ANI shared the statement of Mumbai Police via a tweet that read, “Actress Poonam Pandey's husband Sam Bombay was arrested yesterday in Mumbai after the actress complained that he assaulted her. Poonam Pandey was admitted to a hospital: Mumbai Police.” It is being said that the police is currently investigating the matter.

In another follow-up tweet, the news agency added, “The case has been registered against Sam Bombay under the sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC). The actress has suffered serious injuries on her head, eyes and face.”

This is not the first time that Poonam Pandey has accused her husband of assaulting her. Last year in September, just days after their marriage, she had filed a complaint in Goa claiming that Sam had allegedly molested, threatened and assaulted her. Following the complaint, Sam Bombay was booked by the Goa police but was reportedly released on bail the next day. Poonam had then said that she was going to end her marriage.

Times Of India had quoted Poonam as saying, “He choked me and I thought I was going to die. He punched me in my face, pulled me by my hair and banged my head against the corner of the bed. He knelt on my body, pinned me down and assaulted me.”

 “This time, I don’t plan to go back to him. I don’t think it’s a smart idea to return to a person, who has beaten you up like an animal, without even thinking of the consequence. In a bid to save our relationship, I have suffered a lot. I prefer being single than in an abusive relationship. I have decided to end our marriage. It’s about time I moved on,” she added.
