OOPS: Viacom 18 Motion Pictures Dicey About Producing Manish Gupta’s Rahasya 2

Yesterday, SpotboyE.com told you the director of Rahasya (based on the Aarushi murder case) is all set to make the sequel to the film-Rahasya 2 which will be based on the Sheena Bora case, involving her parents-Peter and Indrani Mukerjea.

We also told you that Tabu and Vickey Kaushal have already turned down Manish’s offer to star in his film. Manish wanted Tabu to play the character of Indrani Mukerjea and Vickey to play Sheena’s boyfriend. And now there is further bad news for the director. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures (Producer of Rahsya) is having a second thought about producing the sequel. SpotboyE.com has it that Viacom 18 Motion Pictures phoned Manish Gupta to tell him about their dilemma, hearing to which he rushed to their office. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures told him that they might not be interested in ‘producing’ the film but would not mind ‘presenting’ it

Well, this is just another heartbreaker for Manish Gupta, who is already having troubles casting for the film. Till now only Nawazuddin Siddiqui has given him a go-ahead. Nawazuddin Siddiqui has agreed to play a cop in the film (it is not yet clear if he is playing Rakesh Maria who was transferred from this case because he was a close friend of the accused media baron Peter Mukerjea who is Indrani's husband, and he too is languishing in jail).

But with so many withdrawals, we wonder if Nawazuddin would also have second thoughts about being a part of the film!
