At Shivaay’s trailer launch a few days ago, Ajay Devgn had spoken about starting a movie with wife Kajol by the end of this year (Shivaay offers some spine-chilling action, literally!, August 7). Now, SpotboyE.com brings you a few exclusive details about the project.
The yet-untitled film, co-written by Robin Bhatt and Anand Gandhi, will mark ad filmmaker Rakesh Sathi’s Bollywood debut. By the way, Sathi, who has already shot some commercials with Kajol, also happens to be Ajay’s ex-classmate.

Coming to Kajol’s role, SpotboyE.com has it that the entire film revolves around the actress, who will play single mom to an eight-year-old. Deserted by her husband, Kajol’s character faces many hardships to raise her only child. It’s a story of her grit and determination.
The film covers eight years of the duo’s life and ends at a point when, as a 16-year-old, the child gets enrolled in a college.
Sounds interesting, doesn’t it? Kajol, who has become extremely choosy about the films she does, had last acted in Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale (2015) opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
