Pakistani Actor Shaan Shahid Takes A Jibe At Shah Rukh Khan; Faces Ire From Superstar's Fans
Pakistani actor Shaan Shahid took a jibe at Shah Rukh Khan’s Hindi dubbing of The Lion King which made the superstar's fans criticize the actor on social media
The Lion King has created a lot of excitement ever since it was revealed that Shah Rukh Khan and his son Aryan will be lending their voices to Musafa and Simba respectively for the Hindi version. Fans of the star were eagerly waiting for the teasers to drop, and had high expectations from SRK’s son Aryan. The father-son duo did not disappoint in the teasers that were unveiled just recently and now fans can’t wait for the movie to release!
After unveiling the first official teaser of Shah Rukh Khan as Mufasa in The Lion King, recently Disney has also dropped the teaser of Simba. Pakistani actor Shaan Shahid has come under fire from fans after he expressed his resentment towards Shah Rukh Khan's Hindi dubbing of the iconic movie "The Lion King". Commenting on the film's promotional video released earlier this month, Shaan had tweeted: "Please don't destroy such a beautiful movie with Hindi dub... In this promo, Shah Rukh's voice is the same like it is in any other film. At least he should've changed his voice and expression for 'The Lion King'."
However, in the promo, the voice is not of Shah Rukh, who is lending voice to the character of Mufasa. Rather, it is of his son Aryan Khan, who is lending his voice to the character, Simba. This made fans criticise Shaan on social media.
A user tweeted: "Shaan, you're trying to be oversmart. Nobody is forcing you to watch the Hindi version of the film. You watch it in English only."
Pls don’t destroy an iconic film with Hindi dub .. no difference in shahrukhs voice it is like any other V/O he does for his films . At least change your voice expression for a lions dub.

Meanwhile, after the teaser of Aryan Khan's dubbed voice was dropped online, the star kid received heaps of praises. His father, SRK took to Twitter to thank his fans on behalf of Aryan. A lot of people including a few celebrities felt that Aryan actually sounded like his father SRK.
