Palak Muchhal thrown out, Tulsi Kumar roped in

Palak Muchhal impressed everybody with her rendition of the title track of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. So it comes as a surprise that the talented singer could be shunted out of a project unceremoniously.
Palak was recently shown the door after having recorded a song for Do Lafzon Ki Kahani. Turns out, director Deepak Tijori and the film’s producer Avinaash Rai did not like her vocals at all.
The duo then went knocking on Tulsi Kumar’s door.
A source close to the development said, “The makers were clear that Palak’s version can’t be included in the album. They recorded the same number with Tulsi and loved her rendition.”
