Paresh Rawal's Driver Ashok Arrested On Charges Of Rape And Circulating MMS- EXCLUSIVE
Ashok, Paresh Rawal's driver working with him since 10 years, has been put behind bars on charges of rape. The incident happened on August 16 and Ashok was arrested the same day. Paresh Rawal was apparently not in the city when this happened but it is a given that it must have come to him as a big shock. Ashok, his driver working with him since 10 years, has been put behind bars on charges of rape. The incident happened on August 16 and Ashok was arrested the same day. This is BREAKING NEWS and it's coming to you FIRST on SpotboyE.com. Ashok usually ferried Paresh Rawal's wife Swaroop Sampat and family, while Rawal had a separate driver to himself.
The complaint was registered in D N Nagar Police Station. Senior P I Parmeshwar Ganame at D N Nagar Police Station guided us to ACI Gogavle to confirm the news. Gogavle confirmed and said, "Yes, Ashok has been jailed." Added Gogavle, "Section 376, 50, 67 and 67A has been imposed on him. He took a lady to a hotel and raped her. He also took an MMS of her and uploaded it."
Ashok was not in Rawal's building Subhadra (Road No 6, JVPD Scheme) when the cops arrived (in plain clothes), but was soon picked up from Juhu Lane. A senior worker in Subhadra, Laxmikant Shah, told yours truly last night at 11 30 pm, "Well, the police came in plain clothes. When they didn't find Ashok, they took help of another driver Durgesh who works for a family on the 3rd floor. Rawals stay on the 4th floor."
How was the plan to nab Ashok carried out? "The police officers made Durgesh call Ashok to Juhu Lane and Ashok did not suspect that a trap had been laid for him," said Laxmikant. As soon as Ashok arrived, the police pounced on him and led him into their car.
We are relieved that the Rawals are safe. They had virtually housed a very dangerous man, a sick mind in a sick body. Laxmikant also told us, "Ashok must be 35-40. He is married and has kids. He is a very strong well-built man and looks more than his age. God knows what came over him. Kisi insaan ka kuch bhi pata nahin chalta aajkal."
The watchman on duty in Subhadra last night, S Singh, endorsed Laxmikant's version.
About Section 376: Whoever, except in the cases provided for in sub-section (2), commits rape, shall be punished with rigorous imprisonment of either description for a term which shall not be less than seven years, but which may extend to imprisonment for life, and shall also be liable to fine.
About Section 67, 67A: Whoever publishes or transmits or causes to be published or transmitted in the electronic form any material which contains sexually explicit act or conduct shall be punished on first conviction with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to 5 years and with fine which may extend to Rs 10 lakh.
About Section 500: Punishment for defamation— Whoever defames another shall be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.
