Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra got engaged to her boyfriend Raghav Chadha earlier this month in an intimate ceremony held in Delhi. The function was attended by family members, a very few close friends, and some politicians including Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal. Interestingly, Parineeti for the first time has spilled beans on her love story with Raghav and revealed how in their first meeting only she realized Raghav was the one for her.
On Monday, the Ishaqzaade actress shared a couple of unseen pictures from her engagement ceremony and penned a lengthy note talking about her relationship with the AAP leader. In one of the photos, the couple was seen hugging each other, while a few pictures showed them posing with family members. One still showed Priyanka Chopra Jonas putting a tilak on Raghav’s forehead during the ceremony. Amongst all the candid clicks, the one that caught everyone’s utmost attention was Raghav wiping Parineeti’s tears.
Alongside these heartfelt photos, the actress wrote, “One breakfast together and I knew - I had met the one. The most wonderful man whose quiet strength would be calming, peaceful, and inspiring. His support, humour, wit and friendship are pure joy. He is my home.” Speaking about her engagement, she called it living a dream - a dream unfurling beautifully amidst love, laughter, emotion, and loads of dancing. “As we hugged those we loved dearest and celebrated with them, emotions overflowed. As a little girl in awe of princess stories, I had imagined how my fairytale would begin. Now that it has, it is even better than I had imagined,” her caption further read.
For the unversed, Parineeti and Raghav knew each other for several years and were in touch before they started dating. They sparked their dating rumours after they were spotted together on several outings. Both have been tight-lipped about their romance in the public till the couple shared their dreamy pictures from their engagement.
