Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra kickstarted shooting for the Hindi remake of the Hollywood flick Girl On The Train, in London earlier this month. In this diabolical thriller, the actress will reprise the hugely acclaimed role of the protagonist essayed by Emily Blunt. A while ago, Parineeti penned a post on her social media handle and spoke about how this role is the most difficult one of her career so far! If that didn’t get you curious and excited to know more about her role, this picture showing her first look from the film most definitely will!
For the unversed, Parineeti will play an intense alcoholic in the film. Talking about the character, director Ribhu Dasgupta said to Mumbai Mirror, “We prepped a lot in Mumbai before arriving here but a character actually shapes up only during the shoot and I can see it happening beautifully, right in front of my eyes. We have chosen a colour palette of black, grey, brown and deep green for Parineeti with a focus on her dialogue delivery and body language. It’s an exciting process.” The picture that has surfaced online is a still from the film The Girl On The Train and Parineeti can be seen sitting in a bathtub looking extremely shocked. Her look is intense and she looks heavily bruised can be seen bleeding from the forehead. Take a look:
The intense look on Parineeti’s face has surely got us excited and now we can’t wait for more updates of the film! The Girl On the Train is based on British author Paula Hawkin’s bestselling novel of the same name; it is a mystery thriller. The movie tracks a journey of an alcoholic divorcee and how she gets occupied in investigation case about a missing person.
