Parineeti Was The Original Choice For Anees Bazmee’s Mubaraka, Not Sonakshi
However, Pari was not interested in acting opposite her Ishaqzaade hero, Arjun Kapoor
Just an hour ago, SpotboyE.com revealed the real reason why Sonakshi Sinha turned down an offer to act opposite Arjun Kapoor in Anees Bazmee’s Mubaraka.
However, not many know that Sona wasn’t the original choice for the role. Anees’s original candidate was Parineeti Chopra, who had starred opposite Arjun in his Bollywood debut Ishaqzaade (2012).
So, why didn’t Pari grab a chance to act opposite Arjun -- especially since she is trying to find her feet in Bollywood once again? Her reason, we hear, was the same as Sonakshi’s who was approached later.
After reading the script, Parineeti was not sure what her role would be in a film which has 3 heroines. And the actress, who is known to be extremely choosy about the films she does, decided to turn down the offer.

Mubaraka has Arjun in a double role and his real real-life chacha Anil Kapoor playing his uncle. This is the second time that Boney Kapoor's son will essay two avatars in one venture, the first occasion was Aurangzeb.
