Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the silver screen has been one of the most-asked questions. After the lukewarm response to Aanand L Rai’s Zero, the superstar went on a long vacation and had a gala time with his family and friends in Dubai, even as he continued to look for the best Comeback vehicle for himself. As the actor has been away from the big screen for 2 years, he has been working hard to make his comeback a massive hit. Now, it can be ascertained that SRK will be returning with a bang with Sidharth Anand’s Pathan. Though a confirmation from the actor is still pending, it is his co-star Deepika Padukone who spilled the beans on the same. In an interview, Deepika confirmed Shah Rukh’s return to the big screen as she revealed she is doing Pathan with SRK.
In a recent interview with Femina, Deepika Padukone talked about her upcoming projects and in the process, she confirmed the action flick that she will be doing with Shah Rukh Khan. The actor said, “So, I immediately started with Shakun Batra’s film, which is a relationship story that we haven’t seen in Indian cinema before. Then there is Pathan, an action film with Shah Rukh Khan, next is Nag Ashwin’s multilingual film with Prabhas.” Elaborating further, she added, “Then I am doing a remake of Anne Hathaway’s movie The Intern, which is so relevant in today’s times when you have the millennial and the older generation coming together. And then, the most famous story comes out of our country, Mahabharata, in which I am playing Draupadi; I want to tell that story to the world.”
Well, Deepika’s hands are full with quite some intriguing and fascinating movies that can surely make anyone pumped up. Moreover, we can’t wait to hear more updates about her film. Apart from the mentioned list, her ’83 is yet to release on the big screen which is expected to release this year in the first quarter.
