Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who was to join Shah Rukh Khan for the shooting of the upcoming film Pathan, started filming today. According to a report, Salman Khan has kick-started shooting for the film Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan. The report stated that Salman joined SRK at Yash Raj Studios on Thursday. Salman recently got done with his duties as the host on Bigg Boss. After the grand finale episode of Bigg Boss 14 and announcing the season’s winner, Salman moves on to his film projects.

As per a report in the Press Trust of India, it was a trade source, who revealed that Salman Khan will join Shah Rukh Khan at Yash Raj Studious today, for the shoot of Pathan. The report stated that Salman and SRK will start shooting on February 25. Salman will appear in an extended cameo in the SRK starrer Pathan. Earlier, the Bharat actor had said on Bigg Boss 14 that he will start shooting for Pathan after the season ends.

Speaking of the film, Pathan is directed by War director Siddharth Anand and backed by YRF. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in key roles, while Salman will make a cameo appearance.

Meanwhile, on Bigg Boss 14, Salman Khan had shared his list of upcoming films. The actor had announced the interesting line-up of films he is planning to work on before Bigg Boss 15. He had said, "When this show ends, we will move to Pathan, then Tiger (3) and later to Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. And as eight months will pass, we will be any way back with Bigg Boss season 15 (sic)." Salman had mentioned that he will start with Pathan and shoot for back-to-back eight months.
