After having the time of his life and dancing on the tunes of Ankhiyon Se Goli Mare and Dheeme Dheeme (which were previously released), Kartik Aaryan aka Chintu Tyagi has now gone into a Devdas mode as he sings Dilbara after being sandwiched between ‘Woh’ Ananya Panday and ‘Patni’ Bhumi Pednekar. Well, to be clear, the makers have released a new song, titled, Dilbara from Pati Patni Aur Woh which is on the lines of heartbreak or can say self-realisation. This new track is sung and composed by Sachet Tandon & Parampara Thakur.
In the song, a lovelorn Kartik is seen regretting leaving his wife Bhumi for another woman, he wakes up to the reality of leaving the true love of his life who is his wife. When he comes to the terms, he goes down the memory lane where he had weaved some wonderful moments with his wife Bhumi. We also see Bhumi breaking down on learning about Kartik’s affair with Ananya in the song. Unlike Dheeme Dheeme and Ankhiyon Se Goli Mare, this is the first original song from the album which is a soulful and gut-wrenching emotional number that will soon find its way to your playlist as well. Meanwhile, Pati Patni Aur Woh has found itself in a controversy due to Kartik’s marital rape monologue that received a lot of flak from the Twitterati. After receiving a severe backlash, the makers have decided to scrape the dialogue from the final cut. Even Kartik spoke about the matter and said that they have showed to many people but none of them have pointed it out.
However, Pati Patni Aur Woh is a remake of the 1978 film of the same name, starring Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday in lead roles along with Aparshakti Khurrana in supporting role. Directed by Mudassar Aziz and is set to release on December 6, 2019.
