Actress Payal Ghosh shocked everyone when she alleged Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap for sexually harassing her. The actress has also gone legal in the matter and has filed an FIR against him in Versova Police station. After Payal made these serious allegations against him, a lot of people from the industry came in support of Anurag on social media among which was his Ex wives- Arti Bajaj and Kalki Koechlin, too.
Both the ladies took to social media to defend their ex-husband and quashed all the allegations against him. And now, Payal has finally reacted to it. Talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively, Payal said, "He is such a good man, sweet and a rockstar that both his wives didn't stay with him. If a good man will come to my life, I would just not like to stay with that man but also pray to God that he makes him my husband for another seven lives. But besides being such a good human being and such a nice person, both the wives could not live with him for seven years also. Such a good man and such good wives. Even after that, he was dating some 20-year-old girl and making public appearances with her but she is also not there with him now. Why?"
Anurag Kashyap’s first wife Arti Bajaj had called Payal's allegations a 'cheap stunt’ in a post on Instagram and she had said that she found it infuriating at first but then laughed at the claims. In the post, she wrote, “First wife here.. You are a rockstar @anuragkashyap10. Keep empowering women as you do and the safest place you create for all of them. I see it first hand with our daughter. There is no integrity left and the world is full of losers and no brains baying for blood of anyone who has a voice. Further in her caption, Aarti wrote that this is the cheapest stunt she has seen till date. She mentioned that while she was furious at first, it later made her laugh hard since the whole thing couldn’t have come across ‘more framed’ than this. “That’s the level of them. You stay HIGH and keep using your voice. We love you,” she added.
Whereas extending her support to Anurag, his second wife Kalki Koechlin also took to Instagram to write a long note where she mentioned, "Dear Anurag, Don’t let this social media circus get to you, you have fought for the freedom of women in your scripts, you’ve defended their integrity in your professional space as well as in your personal life. I have been witness to it, in the personal and professional space you have always seen me as you equal, you have stood up for my integrity even after our divorce, and you have supported me when I felt unsafe in a work environment even before we got together.”
Kalki then said how these are strange times where everyone gets to abuse one another and make false claims without any repercussions. She then mentioned how amidst the chaos, there is a place of dignity that exists, and asked Kashyap to hang on to that dignity, stay strong and keep doing the work that he does. She concluded her post with, “Love from an ex wife,” and tagged the filmmaker in her post’s caption.
