PIL filed against Sanjay Dutt’s 'early' release

This has kind of become a norm these days. Whenever there is a film releasing on a controversial topic or any big news about a celebrity, there is always that one person who stands up and files a Public Interest Litigation (PIL). Well, the same has happened again with Sanjay Dutt’s release from jail, which is to happen tomorrow morning.
A certain social activist Pradip Bhalekar has filed a PIL, alleging that Dutt was given special treatment during his tenure of 42 months in jail. It questions the fact that Dutt had come out of jail on parole quite a number of times due to personal reasons, which wouldn’t have been possible had he been just a commoner. In all likelihood, the PIL will be taken up before a bench tomorrow.
