PM Modi Thanks Aamir Khan For His Tweet Endorsing And Praising The PM For Eliminating "Single-Use Plastic"
PM Modi recently took to his micro-blogging site and thanked Aamir Khan for his praise-filled-post on the elimination of single-use plastic movement that was announced a few days ago
On August 25, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi announced a new mass movement in order to eliminate the single-use plastic. Modi's every initiative not only takes the nation by storm but people also come out in open to support him for his decision. As his initiative has received a positive response from a lot of people, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan too came forward to support PM Modi by taking to his micro-blogging site and shared his support for the same.
Today, PM Modi, replying to his tweet, thanked the actor for his support and encouraging words that will inspire others to strengthen the movement as well. He wrote, "Thank you @aamir_khan for the valuable support to the movement to eliminate usage of single use plastic. Your encouraging words will inspire others to strengthen the movement as well."

In his announcement, PM Modi was quoted saying, “This year, when we celebrate Bapu's 150th birth anniversary, we shall not only dedicate to him an India that is Open Defecation Free but shall also lay the foundation of a new revolution against plastic, by people themselves, throughout the country. Let us celebrate Gandhi Jayanti this year as a mark of plastic-free Mother India. Let us celebrate October 2 as a special day.”
Earlier, Modi scrapping Article 370 completely swept us from our feet. Many Bollywood celebs extended their happiness on Twitter. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan will be next seen in Lal Singh Chaddha along with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Though not much details have been revealed, the film is still in the making process.
