Lok Sabha elections 2019 are round the corner and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s josh is quite high. PM Modi has taken to twitter to request the citizens of India to cast their votes. And what better way than including our beloved B-Town celebs to make an appeal to the crowd.

In a series of tweets, PM Modi has requested Bollywood personalities like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan and Vicky Kaushal among others to urge people to turn up at the polling booths. He even reached out to the Bollywood divas, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma to encourage their fans to vote to achieve a vibrant democracy.



In a tweet to Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal after their commercial hits Gully Boy and Uri: The Surgical Strike respectively, Modi asked them to address the voters to turn up with high Josh as "Apna Time Aa Gaya Hai" to cast the vote.

To spread maximum awareness, PM Modi has even tagged top politicians, industry leaders, and several celebs from the south industry too. One of his tweets addressed to Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Karan Johar read, "Urging @SrBachchan, @iamsrk and @karanjohar to creatively ensure high voter awareness and participation in the coming elections. Because...its all about loving your democracy (and strengthening it). :)"
