Ssharad Malhotra has finally decided to get married. SpotboyE.com was the first one to tell you that Ssharad has found his life partner in Delhi-based fashion designer, Ripci Bhatia. And now, we have come to know the date on which the lovebirds will tie the knot.
A source close to Ssharad informs us that he will marry Ripci on April 20. It will be a 4-day-long grand wedding at JW Marriot Juhu. Festivities will begin from April 18- which will include Haldi, Mehendi and Sangeet ceremonies. On April 20, the couple will first marry in a gurudwara and later take pheras in the evening.
Meanwhile, Ssharad is a bit nervous about taking the plunge, finally. Talking to a news portal about it, Ssharad said, "I am a bit nervous, but that’s obvious. In the last 12 years, I have got married seven or eight times on screen, but this is going to be real. So, I’d say, I am more excited now (laughs). My parents are also very happy. What more could I ask for? My mother and sister have already started planning for the functions. Since Ripci is a Sikhni, there will be dholwallahs playing at our wedding."
The Muskan actor added, "I have also arranged for a top line-up of DJs, one of whom is a friend from Kolkata. My mom, dad, sister and brother-in-law will all shake a leg that day. Friends from the TV fraternity will definitely be a part of my wedding functions in Mumbai. It’s going to an English-themed reception."
When quizzed about his honeymoon plans, Ssharad told the portal, “While I love the hills, Ripci loves the sea. So, we are yet to finalise our honeymoon destination (laughs). After the wedding, I’ll be back to work. Maybe, we will plan something in the next few months."
