Actress Payal Ghosh recently leveled serious allegations of sexual misconduct against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. In her tweet, the actress wrote that Anurag Kashyap forced himself on her. Meanwhile, the filmmaker has denied these allegations and called them baseless. Now, Payal Ghosh’s lawyer has informed that the actress has decided to lodge an FIR against Kashyap, and that they will file a complaint at Oshiwara Police Station today.
While speaking to ANI on Sunday, Payal's lawyer Nitin Satpute said, “Payal Ghosh has decided to lodge an FIR against the accused. We will file a complain at at Oshiwara Police Station tomorrow. We are doing paperwork today. She has decided that she will lodge an FIR against Anurag Kashyap." Payal Ghosh told ANI that Anurag Kashyap made her feel uncomfortable and that whatever happened, should not have happened. She was also asked why she decided to speak now, to which she replied that she tried speaking up before but her family and friends stopped her. “My family is very orthodox. I posted about this also on Twitter but was later forced to delete due to peer pressure,” she said.
Kangana Ranaut backed Payal Ghosh and tweeted that what Payal has alleged, many big heroes have done it to her also. Payal thanked Kangana for her support and tweeted, “Thank you so much for your support @KanganaTeam. This was high time and your support means a lot. We are women and we can together bring all of them down.”

Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap, responding to Payal Ghosh’s allegations, tweeted in Hindi, “Wow, it took so long to try to silence me. You lied so much in this effort and also dragged other women despite you being a woman. Have some dignity madam!
