Remember how during the promotions of Saaho, Prabhas' fans had surprised the actor with a massive cutout of him put outside one of the theatres in Chennai? This clearly stated the clout of the fan clubs stars enjoys down south. With Baahubali, the actor also got recognition in Bollywood as well. While some fans expressing their love and affection for the actor is heart-warming making it headline-worthy, at times there are some unpleasant incidences as well.
Around the release of Saaho, one of his fans died while putting up a flex board in one of the theatre located in Andhra Pradesh. Now comes yet another news which just sends chills down our spine, Prabhas' avid fan was heard of climbing a cell phone tower in Jangam, Telangana. He demanded to meet his favourite actor and also threatened to jump off if it doesn't happen. Cops were trying to persuade him to climb down, but he simply refused.
So far the cops are yet to confirm his identity. We hope nothing unpleasant happens this time around. Prabhas' latest release action thriller Saaho's Hindi version has managed to earn Rs. 130.98 crore. The film received a lukewarm response from the Hindi speaking audience in comparison to his mega-blockbuster series of Baahubali.
Saaho starred Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor who marked her South debut as the film also released in Tamil and Telugu along with Hindi. Prabhas will be next seen in romantic drama opposite Pooja Hegde, which is set to release in 2020. The film is set against the backdrop of 1970s London
