Prabhas has charmed audiences with film roles across a wide spectrum of genres. Now, the fans are eagerly waiting for the actor to witness in a mythological magnum opus film, Adipurush. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh in pivotal roles. The makers have finally announced the release date of the upcoming film and said that it will hit the silver screen on August 11, 2022.
Meanwhile, Sunny Singh, who is all set to foray in the pan-India arena with the mythological film ‘Adipurush’, has shared a behind-the-scenes picture. Taking to his social media, Sunny treated his fans with an all smiles selfie with Prabhas. In the caption, he wrote, "#Adipurush".
To note, Adipurush is an upcoming Indian mythological film based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. The film is helmed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles. Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, Adipurush stars Prabhas as Adipurush, Kriti Sanon as Sita, Sunny Singh as Laxman and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana. It is expected that the film is one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.
Amid all the hush after the government agreed to open up all the theatres, several filmmakers are lining up the release of their upcoming films. Now, a recent report suggests that Adipurush is clashing with Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan. Both are releasing on the same date. The film is helmed by Aanand L Rai and written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon. The film revolves around the brother-sister bond.
