Prateik Babbar Gets Engaged To Girlfriend Sanya Sagar

Another eligible bachelor in B-Town is now engaged and all set to get hitched soon. Prateik Babbar, who came into limelight after Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na (2008), got engaged to his long time girlfriend and budding writer Sanya Sagar. The actor took to Instagram to announce the news.
Prateik captioned the pic as: "#monday.. "holy snappp!.. that just happened!" 💗 (sic)."
Sanya, who goes by the name of 'pynkmoss' on Instagram commented on the post by saying, "Yus baby ❤️ (sic)."
According to a report in Bombay Times, Prateik and Sanya have known each other for eight long years. The duo has been dating since 2017 and now, they decided to get engaged. The engagement ceremony took place in Lucknow.
A source close to the actor revealed. “The engagement was a close-knit affair. Their families are tight-lipped about it, as Prateik wanted to go a little easy and stay away from the limelight unless it’s work-related."
Prateik was initially dating Amy Jackson. Post their split, he went under depression and eventually became a drug addict. However, he resorted to rehabilitation and is now a completely changed person. In 2016, while talking to a leading daily, Prateik bravely confessed about it, “I didn’t know what to do with myself after I broke up with Amy. It left a void in my life. I am not so good with heartbreak…I was scared of not being in a relationship.”
Prateik added in the same interview, “I let failure get to me, and I was confused whether I should be an actor. In eight years whatever I had done had not worked, while other actors were doing well. I stopped listening to scripts as I was very depressed. I loved the people around me and I loved going on the sets, but I isolated myself from everything. My fears took over me."
Now, with him once again back on the work front and his personal life also rocking, we hope that Prateik will bounce back in no time.
The 31-year-old actor is next going to be seen in Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani starrer, Baaghi 2. He will be playing a negative role in the film.
