Pregnant Kareena to shoot for Veere Di Wedding in August
The professional that she is, the actress will complete her film before taking a break
This morning, Saif Ali Khan confirmed that his wife Kareena Kapoor is pregnant and that the couple is expecting their first child in December (Saif confirms that Kareena is pregnant, SpotboyE had told you a month ago, July 2).
While good wishes poured in for the couple, the news raised doubts over whether Kareena would complete her professional commitments in time.
The actress had given her nod to Rhea Kapoor’s next production, Veere Di Wedding, which also stars Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.
Just a few minutes ago, Rhea has sent out a press statement that Kareena will kickstart the shoot of the chick flick in August. The producer stated, “Ekta Kapoor and I, with our families and companies, are delighted and excited for Kareena and Saif! As producers of Veere Di Wedding, we are thrilled to be a part of their special journey. Bebo is a thorough professional and will start the shoot of the film in August. Much like the spirit of our film which celebrates the modern girl, Kareena is going on with her work and life as usual and we couldn’t be prouder to have her.”
However, the mommy-to-be will not be doing Golmaal 4, which she had previously given a nod to (Confirmed! Kareena in Golmaal 4, June 29).
Reportedly, the actress will wrap up Rhea’s film by September, before going on a maternity break.
